Can you briefly walk us through your story?
Absolutely. Where I currently am has a lot to do with where I come from. As a native New Yorker, I was born with a different kind of hustle and fire inside. If you know anything about New Yorkers, you know we’re all about getting things done by any means necessary, and as a child, I can remember always being driven and focused. I was known for taking charge, being the organizer, and being first to do many things.
Fast forward to my college days. After graduating from Norfolk State University with a bachelor's degree in mass communications, and from Morgan State University with a master’s degree in business administration, I became even more of a leader. Attending HBCUs will do that to you.
